The railway sign «Signal clearance point» is a permanent railway sign, installed in the middle of the line between the tracks at the places of bottlenecks and the border beyond which it is prohibited to install (stop) the rolling stock towards the bottleneck to prevent collisions with the rolling stock following the adjacent reconverging track, since further, the dimensions of the trains will begin to cross.
Reinforced concrete stick installed where the distance between the axes of converging tracks is 4100 mm - the normal distance between tracks on the hauls. On station tracks, on which rolling stock of T gauge does not circulate, as well as on transfer tracks with a narrowed distance between tracks, this distance can be reduced to 3810 or 3600 mm, respectively, on curved sections it should increase with a decrease in the radius of the rail track. The signal clearance point indicates the place beyond which the rolling stock moving towards the railroad switch or dead crossings cannot be installed on the track. On the signal clearance point, the numbers of the tracks between which the point is located are indicated.
