10th conference in Nizhny Novgorod
From June 2 to June 8,, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the 10th Anniversary Conference Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (shortly known as CIPR),
which was part of a plenary business session to discuss digital business transformation, cyber defense, introduction of artificial intelligence, import substitution and robotics.
At the conference, JSCo “RZD” presented a digital passenger services navigator with a multimodal route builder, a pet profile, a waiting list, and an on-board re-seating solutions.
Yevgeny Charkin, Deputy General Director of JSCo “RZD”, emphasized that in the next 3 years, the company plans to completely switch to domestic business-critical systems and complete the import substitution process in the IT sector of the railway industry by 2030.
In fact the geolocation-based travel payment technology is already successfully deployed in Kazan and the Kaliningrad region; and during the conference, visitors were able to see this for themselves.
