Cyber resistance of railway infrastructure
At the 3rd International Forum for Digital Technologies in Transport and Logistics - Digital Transportation 2025, a strategic partnership agreement was signed between Russian Railways and Kaspersky Lab.
The partnership is focused on development and implementation of test versions and solutions based on KasperskyOS, as well as providing security for container environments within Russian Railways' IT infrastructure.
Every year, Russian Railways deter millions of unauthorized access attempts threatening their systems; therefore, their digital protection system requires constant improvements. The company banks on the tech development and strong partnerships with leading cyber security experts.
The cooperation between the two companies will help improve cyber resistance of the railway infrastructure and develop import-substituting technologies in the transport industry. Their joint effort will solution capable of effectively countering both known and new cyber attack types, improving safety and reliability of the Russian railway transport.
