Test Site
The installation of the track slab foundation has been completed on the test section of the Sablino-Tosno high-speed railway in the Leningrad Region. On a section of approximately 1.2 km, 263 reinforced concrete elements were installed, including 207 rail slabs and 56 structures designed to accommodate switch assemblies.
In the course of the work, special attention was paid to the accuracy of structure placement. The permissible deviation when adjusting the slabs was no more than 1 mm. Specialists controlled the geometry using a robotic total station. The equipment allows determining the spatial position of elements taking into account temperature changes and the time of measurement.
Almost all major infrastructure elements, both underground and above-ground, will be equipped with control and measuring tools. The sensors will allow recording parameters and monitoring the condition of structures during the passage of test rolling stock.
It is planned to install several dozen additional measuring devices directly on the Sapsan electric train. It will be used at the test site during the preparatory phase, prior to the commencement of testing of the first specialized train for the Russian high-speed railway.
